Job Title: Tax Consultant

Job Description

We are a well-established tax consulting and accounting firm seeking an experienced Tax Consultant to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment with chances for career advancement.

Responsibilities

Prepare individual, partnership, corporate, estate/trust, and nonprofit tax returns.

Conduct bookkeeping and manage sales tax.

Process payroll and handle payroll taxes.

Calculate estimated taxes accurately.

Essential Skills

10+ years of experience in tax preparation and related areas.

Proficiency in individual, partnership, corporate, estate/trust, and sales tax.

Strong consulting and accounting skills.

Experience with QuickBooks is a plus.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

8+ years of tax experience.

Highly organized and detail-oriented.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent communication skills with clients.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Red Hook, New York.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $43.26/hr.
