The Corporate Treasury team is responsible for managing the company's cash, debt, equity, capital, and liquidity positions. We are looking for a high-performing analytical and collaborative leader to join our finance organization. This opportunity affords significant exposure and impact on the company's corporate finance profile and strategic outlook, as well as tremendous professional development in a high paced and dynamic environment. You'll have an interesting mix of strategic and operational responsibilities to manage projects from beginning to end.
What You'll Do:
Support any future equity or debt financing transactions through evaluating market opportunities and taking into consideration investors' expectations, peer practices, rating agency treatment and balance sheet impact
Assist in growing spread lending program, including coordinating and managing relationships with Federal Home Loan banks and Farmer Mac and responsible for management of Equitable' s securities lending program
Prepare documentation to facilitate leadership team for quarterly earnings conference calls regarding Spread Lending product line and capital markets information
Lead spread lending working group meetings between Treasury and GA investment teams
Assist in developing strategy and execution for Equitable's capital return program, including dividends and share repurchases
Prepare quarterly covenant reporting and compliance packages for our lenders
Manage the company's bank scorecard to facilitate the balance of trade between Equitable and banking partners
Execute letters of credit and other bank products to support financing activities
Keep up to date with capital markets, credit ratings, interest rates, FX rates, and other KPIs relevant to the company's capital markets, debt, and spread lending programs
Ad hoc projects as assigned by Treasurer, Head of Capital Markets & Liquidity, or Head of FundingHere's Who You'll Work With:
Report to the Head of Capital Markets and Funding and collaborate with Legal, business partners, Investment, Controller, plus the operations teams and external parties (banks, rating agencies, etc.)
Significant direct exposure to the Treasurer and senior leadership Office Location: The role will be based in our Charlotte, NC or New York, NY office. In office schedule: This team member will work in office 2-3 days per week.The base salary range for this position is $125,000 - $175,000. Actual base salaries vary based on skills, experience, and geographical location. In addition to base pay, Equitable provides compensation to reward performance with base salary increases, spot bonuses, and short-term incentive compensation opportunities. Eligibility for these programs depends on level and functional area of responsibility.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree with major in finance, accounting, and/or economics preferred
8 years of experience in treasury, corporate finance or investment management for an insurance company or financial institution
Experience with corporate debt and equity structures, including reviewing legal documents, forecasting and modeling of debt and equity transactions, and analyzing financial risk (e.g: interest rate and equity sensitivities)
Established financial modelling skills with knowledge of ALM and investments and experience with short and long-term forecasting
Effective communication and presentation skills, whether for internal or external stakeholders
Ability to develop cross-functional relationships to build cohesive and collaborative teams, acting as strategic driver and manager of key strategic initiatives
Executive presence required to present to senior management and various committeesPreferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in finance, business, and/or economics
Experience with spread lending programs at insurance companies and understanding of various spread lending product @types
Experience with Federal Home Loan Banks and/or Farmer Mac
Established critical thinking, sound judgment, complex problem-solving and execution skills
Detail-oriented, always checks work and takes pride in producing exceptional deliverables
Proven initiative and motivated to learn about all aspects of the company's business model
Skills
Financial Forecasting and Modeling: Knowledge of processes, tools and techniques of financial forecasting and modeling; ability to explore and evaluate alternative financial scenarios and results.
Financial Reporting: Knowledge of processes, methods, and tools of financial reporting; ability to create and maintain accurate and thorough financial reports.
Institutional Finance: Knowledge of finance, financial methods, tools and strategies; ability to employ them in private and public corporations.
Investments: Knowledge of the investments business; ability to analyze and evaluate asset @types, market and industry trends, major issues, and regulatory considerations.
Letters of Credit: Knowledge of Letters of Credit concepts, rules, and regulations; ability to implement, manage, or execute processes associated with Letters of Credit (L/C), including: issuance, amendment, advice, confirmation, transfer, assignment and payments.
Liquidity Risk Management: Knowledge of processes, tools, and techniques used to determine the degree of liquidity risk in a financial institution; ability to identify, measure, monitor and control the institution's exposure to liquidity risk.
Strategic Thinking: Knowledge of the importance of "big picture" thinking and planning; ability to apply organizational acumen and competitiveness to identify and maintain focus on key success factors for the organization.
Treasury Management: Knowledge of the principles and methods of managing treasury; ability to use tools, techniques and processes to maximize the value of an organization's financial assets and revenue while minimizing risk.
