As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will play a key role in supporting a secure environment by conducting routine patrols and remaining highly visible throughout the facility. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while providing a reassuring point of contact for employees and visitors. You will be responsible for monitoring access points, reporting any unusual activity, and delivering outstanding customer service in every interaction. This position is a driving post, so you will be required to operate a vehicle as part of your patrol duties. What You'll Do:
Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and when appropriate, responding to emergency situations.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the manufacturing and industrial location and its perimeter, adapting to varying working environments and conditions as required by the site.
Help to deter unauthorized activity through visible presence and thorough observation during patrols.
Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences according to company and site procedures.
Work collaboratively with client staff and Allied Universal team members to support a secure and orderly environment.
Remain alert to changes in the environment and communicate any concerns to the appropriate personnel.

Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available
Minimum Requirements:
Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Possession of a valid driver's license is required for driving positions in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
