Where is this role located within American Express?
The Enterprise Comms & MarTech Experiences (ECMX) team is a global organization that sits within Membership Portfolio Services (MPS) centre of excellence with the charter of powering high quality, efficient, user-centric digital marketing experiences that accelerate business growth through optimized enterprise MarTech & MarOps solutions.
This role sits in the Enterprise MarOps Solutions (EMS) team within ECMX. The EMS organization is a global team responsible for consultation and execution of US and international marketing campaigns including channel set-up and deployment. Additionally, this organization leads creative review & approval processes for all US marketing content & creative. This team conducts process solution design & optimization, informing MarTech transformation.
How will you make an impact in this role?
Provide comprehensive marketing campaign consultation, project management support, solution design/process optimization and execution services to Marketing partners and key stakeholders across US Marketing in support of American Express' strategic priorities.
Activities include deep knowledge of the end-to-end marketing campaign execution journey to provide custom consultation and guidance on pre-execution campaign planning, marketing offer governance, campaign/offer set-up, creative development/review/approval, channel set-up, targeting & eligibility, and post-launch activities.
Collaborate with key stakeholders including Marketing, Product, GCO/Legal, Compliance, Channel Delivery to align on campaign objectives, feasibility, and overall risk - ensuring we can deliver flawlessly on the promise to our customers.
Independently lead project management support for Limited Time Offer (LTO) launches throughout planning, execution, and post-launch stages with a focus on cross-functional collaboration for successful and on-time launches.
Partner with MarTech Product teams and other relevant stakeholders to identify and implement process transformation opportunities across the marketing lifecycle - with a focus on driving speed to market, agility, efficiency, and improved quality metrics.
Build AXP Marketing Operations expertise - understand the possibilities/nuances of AXP MarTech products, processes & capabilities available to our marketing partners to drive clarity and utilization and inform process optimization opportunities.
Lead change management activities, best practice sharing, and process adoption/adherence across enterprise stakeholders for various Marketing & Comms related functional/process elements (e.g., Channel, Marketing, Acquisition/Loyalty etc.).
Monitor and analyze data, identify/interpret trends and determine actions to improve quality, optimize operational performance and business outcomes.
Provide outstanding customer service to marketing colleagues and partners across the enterprise. Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum of 2-3 years of work experience. Previous experience in MarOps, Marketing, or Project Management a plus.
Passion for/keen interest in Marketing Operations (MarOps) and/or Project Management & Delivery with the ability to lead cross-functional projects.
Detail and Process-Oriented Thinker: Energetic self-starter with excellent attention to detail, is a process-oriented thinker with strong process/project management and organizational skills with the ability to think end-to-end.
Strong Communicator: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to translate and explain complex technical concepts in a simple, easy to understand way while providing actionable strategies/recommendations.
Collaborative and Service-Minded: Excellent relationship/partner management skills/experience with ability to engage, consult and influence up and down across multiple partners/stakeholders across the enterprise.
Analytical and Data-Driven: Ability to gather and interpret performance data, identify optimization opportunities and measure key performance indicators.
Comfortable with navigating ambiguity and leveraging a holistic end-to-end perspective to design and deliver clear and effective solutions.
Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to get into the details to identify process inefficiencies and recommend and lead strategic solutions.
Adaptable and Curious: Ability to adapt, operate independently and collaborate effectively cross-functionally with colleagues at various levels, in a dynamic, fast-paced, rapidly evolving global environment. Embrace ongoing learning.
Calm Under Pressure: Experience working in a deadline-driven production-oriented environment with ability to effectively manage last-minute changes, technical issues, and delays.
Bachelor's degree required.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Slack.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience/familiarity with workflow management tools/platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Adobe) a plus.

Salary Range: $55,000.00 to $105,000.00 annually bonus benefits
