Cable Technician - Entry-Level to Intermediate

Location: Ames & Des Moines, IA + Surrounding States

TeKsystems is hiring Cable Technicians to support high-impact multi-dwelling unit projects across Iowa and neighboring states. If you have at least 6 months of low-voltage or hands-on wiring experience-or even mechanical skills-we want to hear from you. This is a fantastic opportunity to build a career in the fast-growing low-voltage cabling industry.

What You'll Be Doing

Install and terminate Cat6 and COAX cabling in residential and commercial buildings

Set up data racks, cabinets, modems, DirecTV cable boxes, and satellite dishes

Assist in building out server closets and network infrastructure

Work in both indoor and outdoor environments, including schools and apartment complexes

Collaborate with experienced technicians and learn advanced cabling techniques

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
