These systems include lighting, heating, cooling, ventilation, fire detection and notification, CCTV, door and window controls, water and waste management. It consists of sensors, controllers, software and communication devices. Siemens offers building automation systems for all building @types and sizes, and for every use. What you will do as a Building Automation Systems Project Management InternDuring this 10-week internship program, you will rotate through various departments at the local branch office, focusing on smart buildings and sustainable infrastructure80% of your time will be spent on project management-related activities (learning how to manage a construction project, on-the-job training, and shadowing, etc.)10% of your time with be spent with the sales department learning how we go-to-market and sell our solutions and services10% of your time will be spent in our service department, focusing on the service-related tasks needed to deliver world-class service to Siemens customersYou may get experience rotating through our core business segments, which include HVAC, Fire/Life Safety, Security, and Energy/Sustainability Systems Responsibilities while working alongside current Project Managers and Associate Project Manager, you will: Review project specifications, drawings, and project-specific documents to establish a project delivery planDevelop and maintain a project schedule, as well as coordinate needs with the project team, identifying time-sensitive installation needsManage the procurement of supplies and materials to complete projectsParticipate in project cost reviewsTrack labor resources and project progressPursue project-specific change-order opportunitiesComplete project-specific close-out documentationRotate through other departments within the branch office to learn about how our branch organization operates as a whole The goal of this internship program is to develop future talent for the Siemens organization and help you identify where you may be interested in pursuing a career at Siemens post-graduation. Pursing a degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Energy/Sustainability and Built Environment.Rising Senior, graduating no sooner than December 2027Ability to work 40-hours per week for the 10-week program (May - July or June - August)There is no relocation or housing stipend for this programThis program does not support students on a Visa such as F1, J1, M1 and H1B as well as OPT/CPT. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
