Electrician 4th Period Clifton Hill, Missouri | Full-time | REQ-1510 At Associated Electric Cooperative, we're committed to providing reliable energy to the communities we serve with passion and precision. Become an Electrician 4th Period and fuel the energy that powers rural communities! What youll do:

Perform safe and efficient operation of equipment and tools necessary to perform maintenance on electrical equipment.

Assist in modifying, repairing, troubleshooting, and installing electrical equipment inside and outside the power plant, including motors, switchgears, control circuits, electrical generators, elevators, communications systems, lighting, station batteries, battery chargers, inverters, electrostatic precipitators and all other electrical components on heavy industrial equipment.

Perform cleaning, lubrication, rigging, painting and any other work to assure proper operation and appearance of equipment, structures, and grounds.

Read and interpret prints, sketches, technical manuals, and piping schematics.

Periodically inspect all electrical equipment and report any concerns to management.

Collaborate with Journeyman Instrumentation Technicians to troubleshoot low-voltage, DCS and /or PLC circuits and systems.

Required to work from heights. What youll need:

High school diploma or GED required.

Minimum of four years of experience in heavy industrial electrical repair or minimum of two years of electrical trade school or equivalent, plus one year of experience in heavy industrial repair or minimum of three years of electrical apprentice program.

Obtain a passing result from the applicable pre-employment test(s) including successfully completing the established AECI machining test(s) pre and post hire.

Basic computer skills required.

Demonstrate a strong mechanical ability and willingness to learn all components of the entire power plant. What Associated provides:
