Job Description

You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth execution of operational tasks. Your focus will be on quality and efficiency as you handle tasks such as providing shipment information, creating orders, activating shipments, building and assigning loads, scheduling appointments, and tracking and tracing shipments. You will also be responsible for entering events and invoicing, monitoring task boards, and responding to customer and carrier requests. Your role will require you to document events, validate load data accuracy, and follow escalation procedures when necessary. You will also be tasked with ensuring customer and carrier satisfaction and may be assigned additional responsibilities as needed.

Responsibilities

Execute tasks with a focus on quality and efficiency according to office and company policies.

Provide shipment information, create orders, and activate shipments.

Build and assign loads, schedule appointments, and track and trace shipments.

Enter events and process invoices.

Monitor task boards and email accounts to respond to customer and carrier requests.

Document events using knowledge from SOPs and experience.

Follow defined escalation procedures and training when necessary.

Ensure customer and carrier satisfaction by following through on requests.

Validate and ensure the accuracy of load data in systems.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Open to candidates from various backgrounds, except fast food or production.

Experience in logistics, customer support, or administrative support is beneficial.

Work Environment

This role requires attendance in the office for three week of training and once a month thereafter. The primary shift is from 4 PM to 12 AM, with weekend shifts on Saturday and Sunday from 8 AM to 5pm. Employees will have two days off each week, though these will be on weekdays. The company offers flexible work arrangements, including remote and hybrid options.

This is a Contract position based out of Eden Prairie, Minnesota.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $19.50/hr.
