Join our dynamic team in Huntsville, Alabama , as a Shipside Operations Specialist - Manufacturing Captain (Mid-Level or Experienced) and be at the forefront of cutting-edge defense manufacturing.
We're looking for skilled professionals who are passionate about precision and innovation to help produce Boeing's Patriot Advanced Capability Seeker team - an integral part of the world's most advanced air defense system. Position Responsibilities:
Use technical knowledge, understanding of process flow, and networking skills to ensure issues are addressed and resolved by responsible support organization
Conducts assessments of processes and practices for comparison to applicable standards and criteria. Analyzes and interprets data
Assist organizations in identifying reoccurring and high impact issues
Supports root cause analysis and corrective action plan to address reoccurring and high impact issues
Facilitate ongoing coordination and tracking of open items
Provide guidance and coaching to less experienced teammates
Represents organization as a prime contact on contracts or projects
Interacts with senior internal and external personnel on significant matters often requiring coordination between organizations
Shipside Operations Specialist works under general direction
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim pre-start and final post-start U.S. Secret clearance is required.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
3+ years of experience in a Manufacturing Operations environment
1+ years of experience collecting, analyzing and interpreting data and managing projects
Experience with Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, and SharePoint
Ability to work any shift as assigned
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Level 3
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Manufacturing Execution Systems common image (MESci) experience.
Experience in the Aerospace & Defense Industry and/or the military
Experience interfacing with senior and executive leadership
Experience using Shipside Action Tracker (SAT)
Active US security clearance
Level 4
5+ years of experience in a Manufacturing Operations environment
3+ years of experience collecting, analyzing and interpreting data and managing projects
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Manufacturing Execution Systems common image (MESci) experience.
Experience implementing lean methodologies and productivity improvements
Experience in the Aerospace & Defense Industry and/or the military
Experience interfacing with senior and executive leadership
Experience using Shipside Action Tracker (SAT)
Active US security clearance
Shift:
The selected candidate must be able to work any shift based on seniority and work assignment. This site runs 3 shifts:
A shift: Monday-Thursday 6:00am - 4:30pm
B shift: Monday-Thursday 4:30pm - 3:00am
C shift: Friday-Sunday 6:00am - 6:30pm

Summary pay range:
Mid-Level (Level 3): $72,250 - $97,750 USD
Experienced (Level 4): $86,700 - $117,300 USD
