Job Title: Supply Chain Analyst

Job Description

The Specialist will play a pivotal role in communicating information to customers and sales representatives while maintaining compliance with company policies and procedures. This position involves negotiating and coordinating rates with carriers and truckers, monitoring group emails, and engaging in problem-solving. A strong commercial and sales approach is essential, with a focus on pricing and quoting, and some time spent in operations.

Responsibilities

Communicate information to customers and sales representatives.

Maintain compliance with company policies and procedures.

Negotiate and coordinate rates with carriers and truckers.

Monitor group emails daily.

Engage in problem-solving.

Understand the market and conditions.

Issue quotes and follow up.

Conduct cost analysis.

Apply a commercial and sales approach to all situations.

Focus on pricing and quoting with some involvement in operations.

Ability to monitor personal and shared email inbox with the team.

Preferred experience in logistics space (trucking, logistics analyst/coordinator, freight forwarder, customer broker, carrier, etc.).

Work Environment

This position requires working onsite in an office environment, where collaboration with team members and effective communication is essential. The role demands a professional demeanor and adherence to business attire.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cordova, Tennessee.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $31.25 - $31.25/hr.
