Raytheon - Air and Space Defense Systems (ASDS) is seeking a Principal Specialist - Intelligence Analyst to join a growing team within the Space Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (S-ISR) Sub-Strategic Business Unit (SSBU) **.
What You Will Do**
Provide near real-time operational response to system alerts and changes in the system environment including system reconfiguration, data analysis, and data reporting
Monitor near real-time status of the system and applying near real-time technical problem-solving skills
Perform and document preliminary evaluation of system problems
Provide technical consultation to the customer on system availability and potential enhancements to improve operational efficiency and/or reduce cost of operations
Document and maintain operational event logs and records. Utilize technical training and/or equivalent technical experience to evaluate system performance and enhance system operation and data processing capabilities
Develop new operational procedures and techniques in a dynamic high ops-tempo work environment
Perform work in a real-time decision-making environment and successfully complete required Operations Certification Process, before starting day position
Work in a closed environment where frequent and directinteraction and collaboration with customers and peers is required
Maintain certification by providing 2 fill-in shifts per month while working day job
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and 5 years minimum relative experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience supporting satellite operations
Anactiveand in-scope TS/SCI CI Poly U.S. government issued security clearance isrequiredforconsideration. U.S. citizenship isrequired, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Qualifications We Prefer
Excellent organizational skills; able to frame requirements, set priorities, develop practical methods and align training to meet customer goals
Intel Operations or Intelligence (Satellite Operations/Analysis) experience with the military to include military leadership
Experience usingmultiple software applications simultaneously in a fast-passed operations environment
Experience performing satellite mission support in a near real-time operations environment
Experience working in directsupport of customers and with direct and frequent customerinteraction

The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
