A Day in the Life:
The Bunge North America Bellevue, Ohio location is looking for a Soy Protein Concentrate Operator (SPC).
Position Details:
Night Shift; 4:45p-5:00a
This position works a 12-hour rotating schedule, including holidays & weekends.
Hourly Pay Rate starting at $28.55
Essential Functions:
Maintain and operate SPC equipment in department
Follow a production schedule
Produce in-spec product
Perform assigned sanitation/keep building clean
Monitor equipment and document process log sheet readings
Load bulk trucks with molasses / unload bulk tankers.
Work with chemicals in a PSM environment
Commitment to supply safe food, maintain a food safety culture within the site, continually improve the site's food safety management system; and comply with customer and regulatory requirements
Required Skills/Experience:
High School Diploma or GED Required - Minimum of 18 years old
Ability to work safely and follow all safety rules and policies
Able to work 12-hour shifts
Experience in Good Manufacturing Practices preferred
Ability to operate various @types of machinery is required
Ability to take direction and work as a team is required
Good attendance and reliability are critical
Good communication skills
Physical Work and Environment Requirements:
Must be able to tolerate soybean and dust as possible allergens at a soybean processing plant
Ability to work in extreme temperatures
Ability to work tolerate working at various heights as required on man lifts
