Summary You will serve as an ELECTRONICS TECHNICIAN in the Testing and Fleet Technical Support Division, Weapons Repair Department of TRIDENT REFIT FACILITY, BANGOR. SALARY: GS-09: $68,686 - $89,290 GS-11: $83,104 - $108,029 Responsibilities You will be responsible and accountable for the effective documentation in Navy data systems all locally identified Combat Systems electrical, electronic and mechanical systems deficiencies. You will assist in special engineering analyses and studies including data collection, data analysis and metrics development efforts for the purpose of developing or evaluating improvements in design, maintenance procedures, material, etc. You will assist in the adjustment and testing of Submarine combat and non-propulsion electronics systems and associated equipment. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications GS-11: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-10) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: overseeing electronics technical services and developing maintenance standards and procedures for new or modified electronic or electrical systems to establish or improve repair practices in support of ship maintenance and repair operations. GS-09: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-08) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: performing electronics technical services that includes evaluating electronics or electrical systems and equipment to identify and resolve deficiencies as established by maintenance standards and procedures in support of ship maintenance and repair operations.
