Description

Dodge Construction Network (Dodge)is looking for anAssociateIndustryAnalyst. Thisrole is a critical part of establishing and maintaining our reputationas product category expertswithinthe building and construction industry.The Associate Industry Analyst is apart ofthefront-lineteam interactingwithin the industry to identify and understand market trends and provide a thoroughly vetted category forecast.Thepositionwillhelp toestablish critical relationships throughout the market to ensure our views on the market are accurate and insightful.

This is a full-timepositionandreports directly to theVP, Marketing & Operations.

Preferred Location

This is a remote,home-officerole and candidates located in thecontinentalUS will be considered

For this position, there is a preference to hire inthe Eastern and Central time zones

Travel Requirements

Expected travel is10%forthis role.

Essential Functions

Support and conduct ongoing and extensive primary market research via in-depth telephone interviews(IDIs)with industry participants up and down the supply chain

Specificprimary researchduties may include contact list development,recruitment,execution,documentationand analysis

Conduct secondary research from multiple sources including supplier and dealer websites, government data, industry associations and publications

Analyze and synthesize primary and secondary dataand insightstohelp establish modelinputs for the firm'sdemand andsupplyanalysis

Participate in thedevelopmentofcategorysummariesincludingindustry trends, product developments, supplier share shifts and other factors contributing to demand and supplier shifts in the market

Actively engage withthe Industry Analyst team to learn howbest toapproachbuildingclient and prospectrelationshipsandestablishingafoundationforongoingengagement

Collaborate with cross-functional teams - providing support to the sales and customer success teams

Education Requirement

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience;advanced degree preferred

Required Experience , Knowledge and Skills

3+ years of relevant work experienceexecutingprimary research, specifically in conducting in-depth interviews(IDIs)

Intermediatecomputing and data processing skills to consolidate,interpretand analyzeindustry dataand insights

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (e.g., PivotTable, macros, functions)

Experience in executingmarket size and segmentation work

Effective written and verbal communication

Ability to manage multiple parallel tasks

Ability to maintain discretion when needed

Strong work ethic and can-do mentality

Collaborative team player

Ability for occasional travel to industry trade shows and key client presentations

Preferre d Experience , Knowledge and Skills

Knowledge and experience using data visualization software tools such as Tableau or Power BI

Salary Disclosure

Dodge Construction Network'scompensation and rewards package for full time roles includes a market competitive salary,comprehensive benefits, and, for applicable roles,uncappedcommissions plans or an annual discretionary performance bonus.
