The EHS Coordinator is responsible for ensuring compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations and company policies within a manufacturing environment. This role supports the development, implementation, and maintenance of EHS programs to promote a safe and sustainable workplace. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and passionate about fostering a culture of safety and environmental responsibility.

Key Responsibilities:

Compliance & Reporting

Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other applicable regulations.

Maintain and submit required environmental and safety documentation and reports.

Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify hazards and ensure corrective actions are implemented.

Training & Education

Develop and deliver EHS training programs for employees.

Maintain training records and ensure all employees are up to date on required certifications.

Incident Management

Investigate accidents, near misses, and environmental incidents.

Prepare incident reports and recommend preventive measures.

Program Development

Assist in the development and implementation of EHS policies and procedures.

Support sustainability initiatives and waste reduction programs.

Emergency Preparedness

Coordinate emergency response plans and conduct drills.

Maintain safety equipment and ensure readiness for emergency situations.

Collaboration

Work closely with operations, maintenance, and HR teams to promote safety culture.

Serve as a liaison with regulatory agencies and external auditors.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or related field (preferred).

4+ years of experience in EHS within a manufacturing or industrial setting.

Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other relevant regulations.

Strong communication and organizational skills.

Ability to lead training sessions and safety meetings.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and EHS management software.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $43.00/hr.
