Analytics Consultant - Data Center Operations

We are looking for a highly analytical and technically skilled professional to join our team as an Analytics Consultant. This role blends data science and analytics expertise with a deep understanding of data center operations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with data center metrics and a strong command of Python, SQL, and A/B testing methodologies.

Responsibilities:

Analyze operational data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for scale

Design and execute A/B tests to optimize data center processes and performance

Build scalable analytics solutions to support decision-making across infrastructure teams

Translate complex data into clear insights for technical and non-technical stakeholders

Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to define and track key metrics

Key Metrics:

Server utilization and uptime

Energy efficiency and cooling performance

Hardware failure rates and predictive maintenance indicators

Deployment timelines and throughput

Cost per compute unit and resource allocation efficiency

Tools:

Programming: Python, SQL

Data platforms: Snowflake, BigQuery, or similar

Visualization: Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent

Experimentation: A/B testing frameworks and statistical modeling tools

Qualifications:

Experience working with data center or infrastructure-related datasets

Strong analytical skills with the ability to build models and conduct experiments

Excellent communication skills and comfort presenting to cross-functional teams

Proven ability to work independently in fast-paced, technical environments

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $75.00/hr.
