Position Title: 6th Grade English Teacher (ELA)

Brief Description: Teach English classes for middle school students. Teacher will collaborate with team and department to successfully reach all students

The Ithaca City School District is a 1:1 district in grades 3-12. Please provide examples of how you have used or your vision for using digital technology in instruction. Also, please provide evidence of how you stay current with students' digital world.

Required Qualifications:

All candidates must possess New York State Teacher Certification in Childhood Education 1-6, ELA Extension 5-6, or qualify to obtain it by the first date of employment. The option of reciprocity still requires that you apply for New York State Certification and meet necessary requirements.

Salary Range: $53,291-$75,191 (10-month full-time base) Based on the 24-25 ITA salary grid, a new contract is currently in negotiations.
