The Manager of Field Account Management, UMR TPA is responsible for leading the Account Management staff that is tasked with supporting new and existing customers in the TPA market. We are looking for a solid, strategic leader who has experience dealing with C suite level customers as well as solid broker interface abilities with a solid vision for his / her team and the ability to successfully execute on that vision.

Primary Responsibilities:

Lead and mentor a team of Field Account Managers based in Minnesota and handling ASO TPA customers located in Minnesota, North Dakota & South Dakota markets

Management and triage of customer related contacts, wellness integration and assistance in supporting the UMR value proposition

Lead and mentor employees as well as support movement into other opportunities within the organization as presented

Manage customer satisfaction metrics, field account manager surveys and overall team results

Ability to build and maintain solid multilevel broker, client and producer relationships

Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver seamless client experience

Understand ASO renewal methodologies and management of a block of business for best outcomes

Develop and execute strategic plans to grow client relationships and drive retention

Required Qualifications:

Sales Insurance License Maintained by Law or ability to obtain upon hire

7+ years of solid sales or account management with experience managing a book of business

3+ years of experience leading a team

Experience with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) and client success tools

Demonstrated success dealing with brokers/consultants with a proven track record of meeting goals/target

Proven track record of managing high-performing teams and driving client growth

Proven excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills

Proven solid analytical and strategic thinking abilities

Driver's License and access to a reliable transportation

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you'll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $75,000 to $160,000 annually based on full-time employment. This role is also eligible to receive bonuses based on sales performance. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
