LC State invites applications for the position of Alumni & Donor Relations Assistant.

Hourly Rate:\$20.00 per hour

Work Schedule:This part-time position is contingent on continued funding. Work schedule and hours will be determined based on departmental needs. Occasional evening and/or weekend hours.

Qualifications:

Associate or bachelor\'s degree strongly preferred.

Previous office or administrative experience preferred.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook);

experience with database systems preferred.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and work with sensitive

information.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced

environment.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift and carry office supplies (up to 15 lbs.) as needed.

Frequent walking on campus delivering mail and running errands.

Summary of Position:Reporting to the Director of College Advancement, the Alumni & Donor Relations Assistant will provide administrative and clerical support to ensure smooth daily operations within the office. This position will assist with donor and alumni database management, general office tasks, event coordination, and other administrative functions to support the department\'s mission.

Key Responsibilities:

General Office Support

Retrieve and distribute mail; run campus errands as needed.

Monitor and maintain office supply inventory; restock as necessary.

Answer incoming phone calls and greet visitors in a professional and

welcoming manner.

Other duties as assigned by the director

Database Management

Maintain donor and alumni database by updating biographical

information.

Enter and verify gift information with accuracy.

Generate routine and ad-hoc reports as requested.

Mailings and Donor Stewardship

Prepare and process thank-you letters and other correspondence.

Assist with donor stewardship reports and mailings.

Alumni and Event Support

Assist with alumni engagement activities.

Provide logistical support for event planning and coordination.

Perform basic marketing and promotional tasks related to events and

alumni activities.

Foundation Board Support

Assist with general duties related to the Foundation Board,

including preparing materials and providing administrative support as needed.
