About the Role:
Responsible for being the key banking advisor for Commercial Banking client relationships. Accountable for prospecting new business and working with other Bank partners and team members to expand existing relationships. Engages in dialogue with CEO and CFO levels of clients to assess holistic banking needs and provide customized banking insights and solutions. Responsible for leading, directing and coordinating key team members in analysis and execution for the effective delivery of products and services to clients and prospects. Ability to identify loan, deposit, and core banking products and services that benefit the client. Utilize existing financial/market information and Relationship Expansion Tool, to identify additional products/services that would satisfy client needs and establish/deepen complete relationships. Makes recommendations on loan structure & terms and refers these issues to the next appropriate level of authority. Analyzes credit to determine the ability of customers and prospective customers to qualify for borrowing requirements. Uses qualitative and quantitative information to undercover potential client needs and proposes to deepen relationships accordingly.
Identifies, attracts and secures new commercial relationships togrowbank'sCommercial and Industrial (C&I) market share. Achieves individual production goals for loans, deposits and core fee income, to support the bank in achieving its overall financial targets.
Serves as a trusted advisor to clients, functions as the Commercial client "expert" in providing differentiating consult, ideas, and options. Champions and leads business development efforts by developing a clear and holistic understanding of the client's or prospect's business and industry. Performs client reviews to ensure the bank provides relevant solutions as clients grow and adapt.
Develops focused strategies for acquiring, retaining and growing Commercial clients.
Developsandmaximizesestablished referral network.Proactivelyprospects for new clients and identifies ways to expand existing relationships in collaboration with other team members and internal partners.
Identifies opportunities and partners to structure, coordinate and sponsor credit and non-credit solutions.
Leads cross-functional teams to quickly respond to customer requests andidentifiesneeds. Utilizes a team of experts to creatively present the full breadth of bank products and services.
Maintains active prospecting effort and pipeline for consistent production.
Studies commercial industrial, economic, and financial situations relating to new or existing business as part of prudent business development and portfolio management disciplines.
Demonstrates compliance with all bank regulations for assigned job function and applies to designated job responsibilities - knowledge may be gained through coursework and on-the-job training. Keeps up to date on regulation changes.
Follows all Bank policies and procedures, compliance regulations, and completes all required annual or job-specific training.
Maintain a working knowledge of Bank's written policies and procedures regarding Bank Secrecy Act, Regulation CC, Regulation E, Bank Security and other regulations as applicable to this job description.
May be asked to coach, mentor, or train others and teach coursework as subject matter expert.

About You:
Bachelor's degree in finance or related field, or equivalent work experience(Required)
2-4yearsof commercial banking portfolio management experience (Required)
5-7_ yearsof commercial underwriting experience.(Required)
Abiltyto develop newbusiness, grow market share and establish/grow a quality supportive network.
Experience working in relationship management teams with a proven understanding of the importance of balancing business development and asset quality. Proven ability to constructively work within a team ineffortto deliver holistic, customized banking relationships to customers.
Strong credit acumen (underwriting, accounting, financial statement, understanding business and understanding of operational cash flow). Working knowledge of the bank's systems and policies applicable to underwriting and portfolio management.
Strong relationship management and business development abilities, analytical andproblem solvingskills, sales skills, and credit and credit quality skills.
Strong knowledge of Bank loan, deposit, and core fee income solutions.
Excellent relationship management and business development abilities. Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong client relationship and internal partnering skills. Ability to work effectively with individuals and groups across the company to manage customer relationships.
Ability to deliver holistic solutions that are both saleable to client and provide adequate risk management for Bank.
Knowledge of Commercial lending policies, procedures, practices and documentation.
Ability to negotiate/collaborate with Senior Credit Officers on credit terms and structures.
As applicable, experience with syndications, asset-based lending, capital structure finance, leveraged lending, trade finance and/or other specialty lending.
Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
Ability to engage in community relationships and interact with outside counsel.
Knowledge of other banking services offered by other lines of business to identify and offer qualified referrals.
Intermediate understanding and development of commercial banking financial solutions, including engaging in community relationships and activities for business development.
Ability to train and present to small and large audiences.
Proficiency with personal computers and related software packages such as Word and Excel.

We offer a competitive total rewards package including base wages and comprehensive benefits. The pay range for this role is $80,051.00 - $140,000.00, and the pay rate for theselected candidate is dependent upon a variety of non-discriminatory factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge-skills, skills, and experience, education, and geographic location. The role may be eligible for performance-based incentive compensation and those details will be provided during the recruitment process.
