Warehouse Associate
Full-time; Onsite; Monday-Friday 7:00am-4:00pm

Job Summary
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for the organized movement, staging, storage, and tracking of materials throughout the warehouse and production areas. They will assist in warehouse and receiving functions, including inventory audits, cycle counts, and shipping tasks, by securing finished goods to pallets through banding, shrink wrapping, and crating.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Stage, store, rotate, receive, pull, and move materials and products in an organized fashion to proper locations.
In addition to conducting audits and cycle counts, maintains, and ensure accurate records and count of items in the warehouse.
Use Epicor (ERP system) to track and record inventory.
Place product in proper locations throughout the production floor and warehouse using a forklift. Inspect units and loads for accuracy, best placement of materials, and proper positioning on pallets to ensure the best quality.
Secure materials to pallets by mean of banding, bagging, and/or crating.
Proper housekeeping and organization of area.
Maintaining inventory using Kanban system of items needed for job responsibilities and kept in designated areas.
Learn and understand the Heat Treat stamp pertaining to international shipment.
Learn and implement Australia and New Zealands policies pertaining to bark-free pallets and fumigation season (Stink Bugs).
The ability to learn and perform woodworking with power tools (Crating).
Be vigilant of your areas and operating tools needed to perform job duties. This includes reporting incidences that may arise to your first line supervisor and promptly reporting defective equipment, near misses, and safety accidents/hazards.
Abide by all plant regulations and procedures. This includes, but is not limited to, phone policies, maintaining timeliness going to and from break, and safety protocols, and working as a team with all departments and tasks as needed.
Work within the shipping department to determine deadlines and shipping requirements.
Communicating and not being afraid to ask questions and use handheld radios to voice needs to perform tasks.
Provide support in receiving and shipping operations during team absences or peak periods.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
2+ years of experience in a manufacturing, assembly, or warehouse environment is most preferred.
Excellent attendance (crucial for efficiency/productivity purposes)
Excellent hand/eye coordination
Strong attention to detail
Strong organizational skills
Experience with forklifts and power toolsMust be able to work with little supervision
Physical/Work Requirements
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, and use hands to perform routine tasks. The employee is required to reach with hands and arms to reach items on shelves. The employee must be able lift and/or move up to 70 pounds. Must be able to stand/walk on concrete for long periods of time (10-hour shifts). Must be able to bend and stoop throughout the shift. Frequently climbing on/off forklifts. Work Environment
Noise level may require use of Hearing Protection in areas. This position will mainly work in an uncontrolled claimant-warehouse environment during the summer months. This position may require work on weekends and/or holidays depending on the workload.
Mental Environment
This employee can work under extreme deadlines, can manage time, and can multitask quickly. They have a high level of organization. The employee has strong fluency written and spoken English. Must be able to use a computer to complete tasks with a high level of organization.
