We are seeking a knowledgeable, customer-focused Appliance Sales Associate to join our retail team. In this role, youll help customers choose the right appliances for their homes by understanding their needs, explaining features, and guiding them through the buying process. Youll be a key player in creating a smooth, informative, and friendly shopping experience that drives customer satisfaction and sales success.

Key Responsibilities

Greet customers and assess their appliance needs through active listening and effective questioning

Recommend appropriate products based on lifestyle, space, and budget

Clearly explain product features, energy efficiency, warranty details, and smart technology options

Stay informed on new products, promotions, financing options, and manufacturer rebates

Handle basic technical and installation-related questions

Accurately process transactions, financing applications, and order entry

Coordinate with delivery and installation teams to ensure a seamless customer experience

Follow up with customers post-sale to ensure satisfaction and support repeat business

Maintain clean, organized, and visually appealing displays in the showroom

Meet or exceed individual and store sales targets

Qualifications

Prior retail experience, preferably in appliances, electronics, or home goods

Strong knowledge of household appliances (washers, dryers, refrigerators, ovens, etc.)

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Comfortable learning product features, financing options, and technical basics

Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

Friendly, patient, and customer-first attitude, ability to build relationships with customers

High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in sales or product knowledge a plus
