Our client, a dynamic organization, is seeking a Documentation Specialist to join their team. As a Documentation Specialist, you will be part of the operations team supporting various departments. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Documentation Specialist

Location: Springdale, PA

Pay Range: $24.00 - $28.80/hr

Shift: Daylight hours

What's the Job?

Develop, write, and update clear, concise, and accurate internal documents such as Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), quick reference guides, and visual aids.

Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) and operational teams to gather information and ensure documentation reflects current practices and compliance requirements.

Design visual aids, flowcharts, diagrams, and other graphical elements to complement written content and improve user comprehension.

Conduct regular reviews and updates of documentation to reflect process changes, improvements, or feedback from users.

Provide training or support to employees on how to use documentation effectively.

What's Needed?

Bachelor's degree in English, Technical Communication, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.

Proven experience in technical writing, documentation, or a similar role, preferably within an operational or manufacturing environment.

Strong ability to translate complex processes into clear, user-friendly documents.

Proficiency with documentation tools such as Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, Visio, or other diagramming software.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
