Salary Range: $45,000 - $48,000

About ADRC

The Alzheimer's Disease Resource Center (ADRC) is dedicated to supporting individuals and families affected by Alzheimers and related dementias across Long Island. Through education, caregiver support, community engagement, and advocacy, ADRC works to ensure that no one facing dementia is alone.

Position Summary

ADRC seeks a dynamic, mission-driven Marketing, Outreach, and Impact Specialist to elevate our visibility, drive engagement, and communicate the impact of our programs and services. This position is ideal for a creative and analytical professional who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative nonprofit environment and is passionate about serving those affected by dementia.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing & Communications (50%)

Develop and implement integrated marketing and communications strategies across digital, print, and social platforms to support fundraising, programmatic, and advocacy goals.

Manage ADRCs website, e-newsletters, and social media channels (content creation, analytics, SEO/SEM).

Create compelling visual and written materials including flyers, impact reports, press releases, annual reports, and donor communications.

Oversee brand consistency across all channels and serve as a brand ambassador for ADRC.

Outreach & Community Engagement (30%)

Build and maintain relationships with community partners, local media, businesses, and referral sources to increase ADRCs visibility and reach.

Represent ADRC at community events, conferences, fairs, and forums to promote services and engage stakeholders.

Collaborate with the program team to promote events, workshops, and caregiver education series.

Assist in planning and executing awareness campaigns (e.g., Alzheimers & Brain Awareness Month, ADRC Annual Education Conference, ADRC Walk).

Impact & Data Storytelling (20%)

Collect and analyze program data, testimonials, and outcomes to demonstrate organizational impact. Translate metrics into engaging stories for donors, partners, and stakeholders. Collaborate with the Executive Director to develop dashboards, one-pagers, and summaries for grant reports, donor appeals, and annual reviews.

Qualifications Bachelors degree in marketing, communications, public relations, or related field (or equivalent experience). 3+ years experience in nonprofit communications, marketing, or outreach preferred. Proficiency in digital tools: Canva, Mailchimp/Constant Contact, WordPress, Google Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, Meta/LinkedIn platforms. Strong writing, editing, and design skills with attention to detail and messaging consistency. Comfortable analyzing data and using it to drive content and outreach strategies. Self-starter with a collaborative spirit and a passion for ADRCs mission. Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends as needed. Preferred Skills Familiarity with Alzheimers/dementia-related issues or healthcare communications. Experience working with CRMs or Fundraising Platform. Spanish fluency or second language a plus.
