Summary About the Position: Serves as a United States Military Entrance Processing Command (MEPCOM) Information Assurance Manager (IAM) for Command-wide Cyber Security/Information Assurance (IA) Program including subordinate organizations. Performs a variety of substantive and comprehensive security program tasks. This position will be filled on a permanent basis. Responsibilities As an Information Technology Specialist (Information Security), you will: Guide Information Assurance (IA) personnel in problem analysis. Guide Information Assurance personnel in developing new and improved Information Assurance techniques and methods. Maintain Disaster Recovery/Continuity of Operations Planning (COOP) for MEPCOM networks. Participate in developing Information Assurance implementation. Develop and analyze security directives to protect secure, secure, sensitive, private citizen or privacy health related information. Advise the command on Information Assurance security policy in the ares of automation, software, and system development and network security.
