Bard Manufacturing Company, Inc., a leader in the HVAC industry, has an opening for a Check and Repair Technician at our facility in Bryan, OH. The work schedule is Monday-Thursday, 6:00am-4:30pm.

With production facilities in Ohio, Georgia, and Mexico, we service our customers both nationwide and internationally by designing and manufacturing cutting-edge engineered products.

Role Overview:

This individual performs repetitive work at a work station or assembly line, assembling metal, electrical, or mechanical components/parts components into an HVAC unit. When not on the line, responsibilities are related to the Returned Goods area.

Key Responsibilities:

Responsible to run in (test) all products assembled on the assembly line. This includes operating the refrigerant charging equipment, operation of the automated run-in equipment.

Troubleshoots any problems with any of the products, including electrical, refrigeration system, and other miscellaneous quality issues.

Receives and processes paperwork and enters information in the computer system.

Change-over of finished goods units.

Operates both stationary and moving overhead cranes.

Installs wiring.

Operates fork lift as required.

Monitors the overall quality of the work being performed.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Experience:

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

High school diploma or GED required.

Must be able to read and understand drawings/prints

Brazing experience preferred

Have knowledge of electrical and refrigeration systems

Basic PC skills

Must obtain a valid forklift license.

Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed or uninvolved written or oral instructions

Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand (up to 100% of the time). The employee frequently is required to use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls, and climb or balance. The employee is regularly required to walk; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, twist, stoop, or crawl; push and pull; and talk or hear.

The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds repetitively and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
