Client Services Representative

Position Summary: We are seeking a reliable and personable Client Service Representative to serve as the first point of contact for our clients. In this role, you'll be responsible for welcoming clients, checking them in, handling payments, verifying insurance, and collecting essential documentation. You will play a key role in ensuring smooth and supportive experiences for those seeking our services.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet and check in clients in a friendly and professional manner

Collect and process client payments and co-pays.

Obtain and enter insurance information accurately into the EHR system

Verify insurance eligibility and benefits prior to appointments

Collect and track required documentation for subsidy/financial assistance programs

Schedule and confirm client appointments using electronic health record (EHR) or scheduling software.

Provide information about services, appointment scheduling, and policies

Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines

Support front office operations and collaborate with clinical and billing staff

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent (required)

1+ year of experience in healthcare, behavioral health, or customer service setting (preferred)

Experience with insurance verification or front desk administration is a plus

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) systems is helpful
