Description We are looking for a meticulous Accounting Assistant to join our team in Franklin, Indiana. This Contract-to-Permanent position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to essential financial processes while enhancing your skills in a supportive environment. Responsibilities:

Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions with accuracy and efficiency.

Ensure invoices are properly coded and entered into the system for timely payment.

Monitor and manage billing operations, ensuring compliance with company policies.

Reconcile financial statements and resolve discrepancies as needed.

Collaborate with team members to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.

Maintain organized records of financial documentation for auditing purposes.

Assist in preparing reports and summaries for management review.

Provide administrative support to the accounting department as required.

Respond to inquiries regarding financial transactions and resolve issues promptly. Requirements - Proven experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.

Strong ability to code invoices accurately and efficiently.

Familiarity with billing processes and financial documentation.

Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications.

Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Effective verbal and written communication abilities.

High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
