Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable specialist to join our team in Ann Arbor, Michigan. This is a long-term contract position with a hybrid work schedule, combining onsite work Mondays through Thursdays and remote work on Fridays. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing the full accounts receivable process and ensuring accurate financial operations.

Responsibilities:

Handle the complete accounts receivable cycle, including invoicing and payment processing.

Apply cash receipts accurately and efficiently to customer accounts.

Reconcile accounts to ensure financial records are accurate and up-to-date.

Collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and maintain smooth operations.

Utilize Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations for financial processes and reporting.

Support the transition to Microsoft Dynamics by providing expertise in accounts receivable.

Monitor aging reports and follow up on overdue accounts to minimize outstanding balances.

Prepare and deliver regular financial reports related to accounts receivable activities.

Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards. Requirements - Proven experience in accounts receivable or similar accounting functions.

Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations and Dynamics NAV.

Strong skills in cash application and account reconciliation.

Familiarity with financial reporting and compliance standards.

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to analyze and resolve discrepancies efficiently.

Effective communication skills to liaise with internal teams and clients.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field is preferred.
