Compensation:
The wage range listed represents the potential compensation opportunities for this position. Starting salary will be thoughtfully determined by the hiring manager based on a variety of factors including candidate experience, education, relevant skills, and qualifications brought to the role. The initial offer could be any amount within the posted range, reflecting Epsilon's commitment to fair and competitive compensation.
Where you'll work:
This is a hybrid onsite/remote opportunity where you will report to the customer location in Falls Church, VA and have the flexibility to work from home based on business needs.
An average day:
As Scrum Master II, you will lead Agile delivery for the Models task area within the CDAO Enterprise Data Engineering, Governance, and AI Support program. This role will coordinate cross-functional government and contractor teams to deliver data pipelines, metadata, and AI models that support Advana applications and tools. In this position you will:
Facilitate Agile ceremonies including daily scrums, sprint planning, reviews, and backlog grooming.
Maintain and manage Jira and Confluence to support Agile workflows and documentation.
Coordinate delivery status meetings, ensuring alignment across stakeholders.
Apply Agile and sprint methodologies to drive delivery of prioritized AI capability and model development initiatives.
Support transition-out activities and ensure compliance with data sensitivity and security requirements.
Basic Qualifications:
As a requirement of this position, all candidates must be a U.S. Citizen. In accordance with 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(2)(C) , Epsilon will not consider candidates for this position who do not meet the aforementioned conditions.
3-5 years of experience in Agile project management and Scrum methodologies
Demonstrated ability to facilitate Agile ceremonies and manage cross-functional teams
Proficiency in Jira and Confluence administration, including workflow configuration, project setup, and reporting capabilities to support complex Agile delivery environments
Experience analyzing user requirements and system capabilities to optimize workflows and improve existing processes, particularly in data engineering or AI/ML project environments
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to develop innovative solutions for complex technical challenges while operating with minimal supervision
Knowledge of data sensitivity requirements and security compliance standards
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience supporting government or DoD programs preferred
Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) certification preferred
Other:
Must have an active DOD Secret clearance. ( This is a federal contract position and requires candidates to obtain and maintain the appropriate level of Security Clearance or Public Trust. Adjudication of the required Security Clearance or Public Trust is determined solely by the government.
