Philadelphia Gymnastics Center in Conshohocken, PA seeks a full-time, administrative assistant. PGC offers gymnastics and NinjaZone classes for children ages 1.5 - 13 and a competitive team for athletes through high school. The gym also hosts birthday parties, clinics, and other events for children.

This position provides administrative support for Philadelphia Gymnastics Center and serves as both a friendly and professional point of contact for all parents/guardians, athletes, and staff members. The ideal candidate is able to organize and complete tasks in a timely fashion, has strong interpersonal skills, and is able to manage their time and tasks effectively.

While gymnastics knowledge is helpful, it is not required for this position.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Greet families, guardians, athletes, and fellow staff members as they arrive for classes and activities

Answer incoming calls and provide information and/or direct phone calls to the appropriate staff member in a courteous and timely manner

Answer and address questions from class and team parents

Provide regular updates to office manager on common questions and suggestions provided by families

Manage gym store inventory, displays, and sales

Utilize gym management software to send notifications, reminders and updates to families

Coordinate gym communications

Handle light cleaning during opening and closing - organizing, sweeping, vacuuming, and window cleaning

Other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

Must be at least 18 years of age

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent

Preferably a Bachelor's or Associates degree

Flexibility, patience, and a positive attitude

Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Google, Microsoft Suite, and social media platforms

Familiarity with Canva

Effective communication and organizational skills

Ability to work late afternoon - early evening weekdays with opportunities for additional hours based on gym needs

Ability to multitask

Pay range: $18 - $24 dependant upon experience
