Job Description:
GDIT has an opportunity for a TRIRIGA Systems Engineer to support a new program for our NASA business area, NCAPS, the NASA Consolidated Applications and Platform Services Program. NCAPS consolidates enterprise-wide applications and platform services across the Agency and supports the Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) Application Division transformation into the Application and Platform Service (APS) Line with agile based service delivery and IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) based service management practices. This is a remote position.
We are seeking a self-motivated Senior Systems Engineer to join our team to provide technical support and development for various NASA TRIRIGA applications (FCA, Advanced Reports, HQCFS) across multiple NASA Centers (MSFC and HQ). The ideal candidate will be customer focused, detail-oriented, and capable of resolving technical issues efficiently while maintaining a high standard of service.
Responsibilities:
User Administration & Security: Managing user access, roles, and permissions across systems as approved by NASA.
Application Support: Responding to day-to-day functional questions, assisting with navigation, data access, reporting, and documentation.
Enhancement Estimates & Implementation: Providing level-of-effort estimates for enhancements over 20-30 hours and implementing minor approved configuration changes under specified thresholds (20-30 hours depending on application).
Troubleshooting & Vendor Coordination: Identifying application issues, performing root cause analysis, and liaising with software vendors to resolve bugs or errors.
Training & Knowledge Transfer: Supporting end-user training, documentation, and system usability improvements.
System Maintenance: Maintaining system documentation and configuration management materials, supporting compliance with IT security and accessibility standards, and contributing to enhancements.
Required competencies:

3+ years developing TRIRIGA applications.
3+ years administering TRIRIGA systems.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related discipline.
Twelve or more (12+) years of experience in software development and IT support.
Ability to troubleshoot issues related to these tools and their interactions.
Expert-level systems engineering support.
Applies expert knowledge of concepts, processes, practices, and procedures on technical assignments.
Provides analysis related to the design, development, and integration of cloud, hardware, software, man-machine interfaces, and all system level requirements to provide an integrated IT solution.
Develops integrated system test requirements, strategies, devices, and systems.
Directs overall system level testing.
Provide leadership in software engineering design and modification.
Provide advanced software services on all aspects of equipment.
Work directly on problems that are complex to analyze, plan, program, and operate.
Confer with functional area experts and authorities to determine the software application requirements of the program.
Analyze problems within the program; make recommendations based on input from the Government and other personnel.
Responsible for the completion of assigned engineering projects within budgetary and scheduling guidelines.
Preferred (but not required):
Experience and knowledge with TRIRIGA Application Suite 11.6.
Experience and knowledge with Maximo Application Suite (MAS 8.0).

The likely salary range for this position is $114,525 - $140,300. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
