Job Description

A large retail & commercial bank is looking for a Software Asset Coordinator to join their team in virtually. The role can be fully REMOTE. It would be ideal if candidate was bilingual in English/Spanish. The bank has close to $90B in assets, 9K employees and more than 2M customers along the east coast. In addition to providing excellent banking experiences for their customers, the bank also very involved in the community through charitable giving and philanthropy to give back to low/moderate income and underserved communities.

As a Software Asset Management Coordinator\Administrator in the client's Information Technology department you will be involved in the management of software acquisition, compliance, maintenance renewals, life cycle planning and costing. This resource must be well versed in Flexnet Manager Suite - using it for SAM operations like running SAM processes and licensing, POs, scoping licenses and ensuring they have proper restrictions, license compliance, consumption of licenses and understanding the overall contracts and vendor relationships. It would be great if the candidate had advanced skills for excel and powerbi for reporting since right now Flexera cannot create the reports they want to show management, so it is a lot of manual manipulation.

Functional Responsibilities:

Reconcile license consumption via Flexera FlexNet Manager® Suite

Upload and validate software contracts, purchase orders, and licenses into Flexera FlexNet Manager® Suite

Prepare, analysis, and export reports using Flexera FlexNet Manager® Suite

Prepare and validate Software Asset Management processes, procedures and policies

Produce software license expense reports and presentations

Monitor and validate Flexera FlexNet Manager® Suite software inventory

Analyze and identify potential cost savings related to software licenses/contracts/renewals and produce action plan to achieve savings

Identify potential risks associated with use of software and effectively communicate solutions to avoid penalties or fines

Manage contracts and relationships to maximize value creation and costs for software licensing, maintenance, and service offerings.

Collect information for budgeting, software compliance & inventory, contract summaries, and cost comparisons.

Lifecycle management of software assets

Day to day governance of software assets

Assist with internal and external software audits

Participate in license true-up exercises

Compensation:

$38/hr to $43/hr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, skills, experience, and education.

Skills and Requirements

3+ years within Software Asset management

hands-on experience with Flexera FlexNet Manager® Suite

licensing, POs, vendor management etc

Knowledge and experience with software asset life cycle management processes: planning, acquisition, deployment, monitoring and harvesting

IT Asset Management and Discovery Tools experience (e.g., ServiceNow® CMDB, ServiceNow Asset Management, ServiceNow Software Asset Management; ServiceNow® Product Catalogs, Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager)

advanced Excel - Bilingual in Spanish

Prior experience with performing annual license true-up of Microsoft, Oracle, Symantec, Adobe, IBM, etc

Data analysis skills with advanced knowledge and skills with Microsoft Excel and/or Power BI

Conceptual knowledge of ISO 19770 Framework (Certification is as plus) null
