ABOUT YOU
As a Cybersecurity Engineer, you are a proactive, detail-oriented professional who thrives in complex technical environments and is passionate about safeguarding critical systems. With a strong foundation in cybersecurity principles and hands-on experience across platforms, you navigate evolving threats with curiosity and precision. You communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical teams, collaborate with integrity, and stay focused under pressure, always working to ensure secure, reliable, and accessible technology that supports Massport's broader goals.
What you will do:
Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot the vulnerability management platform to ensure reliable scanning and address coverage gaps.
Implement and maintain network access controls and PKI infrastructure, including certificate lifecycle management to support secure system operations.
Collaborate with IT staff to deploy digital certificates and guide secure implementation while supporting third-party risk management and compliance efforts.
Oversee patch management and configuration for Linux and Windows environments, maintain security systems, and ensure accurate documentation of assigned systems.
WHAT YOU OFFER
Strong foundation in cybersecurity principles, data protection, and security best practices.
Degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., OSCP, CISSP, CEH) or equivalent experience.
Proficient in troubleshooting across operating systems (Windows, Linux) and hardware (servers, laptops, workstations).
Experienced in responding to cyber alerts and incidents; familiar with enterprise cybersecurity tools and Next-Generation Firewalls.
