Description We are looking for an Accounting Clerk to join a dynamic construction company located in Odessa, Texas. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to a small, collaborative office environment while handling a variety of accounting and administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will have a proactive attitude and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently.

Responsibilities:

Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions with accuracy and timeliness.

Manage billing activities, including generating invoices and monitoring payments.

Conduct collection calls to resolve outstanding payments and maintain a positive rapport with clients.

Perform data entry tasks, ensuring precision and adherence to company standards.

Assist with human resources administrative tasks, such as maintaining employee records.

Handle clerical duties, including filing, document organization, and correspondence.

Provide receptionist support by answering phone calls and directing inquiries.

Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth office operations and support additional projects when needed.

Utilize Excel and internal software tools to manage accounting and administrative processes efficiently. Requirements - Previous experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and billing is preferred.

Proficiency in data entry with strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Familiarity with Excel and other accounting software is highly desirable.

Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a small office environment.

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with clients and team members.

Basic knowledge of human resources administrative functions is a plus.

Self-motivated and willing to learn new processes and systems.

Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team-focused setting.
