Test Technician - Electronics & RF Systems

Chelmsford, MA | First or Second Shift | Contract-to-Hire Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

Conduct electrical and RF testing on systems, sub-assemblies, and circuit boards using both manual and automated test equipment.

Follow detailed work instructions and test plans to ensure product quality and compliance.

Operate electronic test instruments such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and signal generators.

Accurately document test results, maintain data records, and assist in refining test procedures.

Perform basic troubleshooting and retesting of electronic assemblies.

Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to support continuous improvement initiatives.

Shift Options

First Shift: Monday-Thursday, 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Second Shift: Monday-Thursday, 4:00 PM - 2:30 AM

Pay Rate: $22.00 - $24.00/hour (Overtime available)

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.

Entry level college grad

Basic computer literacy (e.g., navigating digital systems for timekeeping and work instructions).

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Experience with electrical or micro-electronics preferred.

Familiarity with ESD procedures and electronic test equipment.

Reliable, punctual, and eager to learn and grow in a technical role.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
