Job Description:

GDIT has an exciting Vice President, Business Area opportunity for our ISP portfolio who will assume responsibility for a ~$350M portfolio, four direct reports & several prime programs. The selected individual will provide leadership, people development and senior customer engagement to ensure revenue growth, profitability, capability expansion, and new business wins. Collaborating and partnering with GDIT's Growth team to lead and prosecute a robust new business funnel comprised of dozens of pursuits as well as two $1B+ opportunities.

The selected candidate will manage two Program Vice Presidents and have responsibility for revenue/Margin/Cash targets, deliver high quality enterprise IT and mission services to the USG-1 customer, and lead growth resulting in year-over-year expansion of the ISP portfolio.

HOW A VICE PRESIDENT, Business Area, WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Maximizing/improving program performance as evidenced by high customer satisfaction and continued successfully meeting KPIs/metrics.

Predicting, identifying, and minimizing risk areas to the program and implement mitigation plans.

Working with programs and stakeholders to successfully transition positions to follow-on contracts.

Performs financial management services and has profit and loss responsibility for all Programs.

Coordinates marketing, technical, and management efforts to maintain existing clients and to obtain new business.

Develops and implements strategic and tactical plans related to business development and operations.

Develops and directs the implementation of operating practices, policies, and procedures.

Performs day-to-day management responsibilities including direction of personnel, budgets, projects, etc.

Establishes and manages budgets.

Supervises and directs the work of assigned staff, including subordinate managers and/or directors.

Identifies and resolves problems related to Program operations.

Participates in special projects as required

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

? Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience may be substituted

? Required Experience: Ten (10+) years working in the USG-1 space and multiple experiences as an on-site Program Manager in the USG-1 space

? Required Technical Skills: Program Management experience

? Security Clearance Level: Active TS/SCI with POLY

? Required Skills and Abilities: Personal accountability; Resilience & Adaptability; Fostering collaboration and teamwork; leading change

? Location: Herndon, VA on site

? US Citizenship Required

The likely salary range for this position is $262,309 - $310,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
