The North America Stores GenAI Evaluation Media (GEM) team is seeking an experienced Principal Product Manager - Technical to help shape the future of visual shopping experiences. We're building CXs and foundational capabilities to understand, enhance, and generate high-quality GenAI imagery, videos and CXs that inspire customers and drive purchase confidence, towards our vision to be the leader in visual media and tools. We are looking for builders and disruptors who are not afraid to innovate for customers, business and technical acumen, exemplary interpersonal and communication skills, and a passion for GenAI technologies.

Key job responsibilities
We work backwards from the needs of customers to bring structure to ambiguous problems. As a Principal Product Manager Technical on this team, you will:
Define the vision for your product space and outline a roadmap that has the potential to significantly impact Amazon's business and customer experience.
Gain support for your strategy and roadmap from stakeholders by writing narratives and influencing senior leadership, peers and partner teams.
Partner with scientists, engineers and UX designers to translate business and functional requirements into concrete deliverables, including the design, development, testing, and deployment of customer-facing experiences at scale.
Drive data-informed decisions through customer research, behavior analysis, and performance metrics
Manage prioritization and trade-offs for speed to market, performance, and features.
Stay abreast with industry trends and GenAI offerings
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
Experience technical product management
Experience as a strong leader who can prioritize well, communicate clearly and effectively influence across cross-functional teams
Experience leading engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
Experience leading cross-organizational programs and setting and holding teams and individuals to timelines and deliverables without explicit authority
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working directly with Engineers on product enhancements
Experience in project management methodologies, business analysis, or process improvement
7+ years of end to end product delivery experience

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $161,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $279,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
