Job Title: Supply Chain - Warehouse Technician

Job Description:

Duties & Responsibilities:

Material Reception : Receive purchased materials including raw materials, supplies, packaging components, narcotics, and dangerous substances. Perform visual inspections, verify identification by counting or weighing, and record information in inventory control systems.

SAP Transactions : Maintain and generate transactions in the SAP environment. Manage discrepancies such as damages, shortages, excesses, or missing orders following the Materials Damages & Claim Procedure.

Sample Handling : Remove samples for analysis of raw materials and packaging components, and for re-evaluation of existing materials.

Storage & Organization : Store materials according to their status, compliant with current GMPs. Keep working areas clean and organized and perform pest control processes when applicable.

Material Transfer : Transfer materials from warehouse to production lines and receive back-to-stock materials from production, adhering to current procedures.

Inventory Control : Ensure inventory control systems (manual and/or computerized) are up-to-date and accurate. Participate in Cycle Counting processes and prepare materials for shipment according to current GMPs.

Equipment Operation : Operate and maintain warehouse equipment such as radios and forklifts.

Material Disposal : Properly handle and dispose of rejected materials, dangerous goods, and regulated hazardous waste following designated protocols.

Procedure Revision : Contribute to the revision of procedures and coordinate effectively with the area supervisor or designee on daily plans.

Minimum Requirements:

Education & Experience :

High School Diploma with 5 years of experience in Warehousing or Incoming in a pharmaceutical/biotechnology/medical devices environment.

Or,

Bachelor or Associate Degree with 1 year of experience in the above sectors.

Skillset :

Knowledge of warehouse functions, including Receiving, Storage, Cycle Count, Physical Inventory, Dispatching, Shipping, operation of forklift, hand truck, and waste disposal.

1-year experience in operating material handling equipment.

Fluent in oral and written English and Spanish, with strong comprehension and instruction-following abilities.

Proficient mathematical skills.

Computer literacy.

Understanding of relevant governmental regulations, cGMPs, and guidelines.
