Job Title: Electrical EngineerJob Description

Support the life cycle of new product development from concept, through design and development, testing, and product support. Test hardware performance with embedded software/firmware, utilizing JTAG interface, logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, or similar equipment. Ensure successful transfer of new designs to Production. Develop and execute test plans to validate that designs comply with product specifications. Conduct validation, verification, and qualification testing to verify designs are implemented with accurate consideration for power quality and performance, systems interfaces, physical environment, etc. Work independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with other employees and organizations.

Responsibilities

Support the life cycle of new product development from concept to product support.

Test hardware performance using JTAG interface, logic analyzers, and oscilloscopes.

Ensure successful transfer of new designs to production.

Develop and execute test plans to validate compliance with product specifications.

Conduct validation, verification, and qualification testing.

Verify designs for power quality, systems interfaces, and physical environment.

Work independently and coordinate with colleagues and organizations.

Essential Skills

Electrical engineering expertise

Knowledge of power systems, AC/DC, high voltage

Proficiency with test equipment

Design and development skills

Experience with generators, batteries, and electrical wiring

Power engine knowledge

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or similar discipline

Five to ten years of experience in electrical/electronic engineering product design and development

Power generation equipment design and development experience

Experience with power systems such as generators, batteries, inverters, EWIS

Power conversion experience - AC/DC (High voltage), aircraft power systems

Experience working with aircraft support equipment (testing and development)

Over ten years of electrical power-engine experience

Work Environment

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $70.00 - $80.00/hr.
