In this position, you will get to:

As an nVent AI/ML Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and deploying machine learning models and generative AI solutions that enable data-driven decision making and insights across the organization. The ideal candidate will have experience in the field of AI/ML, specializing in areas such as natural language processing, machine learning models, deep learning models, GAN, AI, GenAI.

Key Responsibilities

Design, implement, and optimize machine learning models and generative AI systems to address complex business problems.

Create algorithms for deep learning, natural language processing tasks.

Implement solutions using large language models.

Train, validate, and refine models to ensure high performance and accuracy.

Manage and preprocess large datasets to support model training and evaluation.

Apply AWS services (e.g., SageMaker, Lambda, EC2, S3, Bedrock) for deploying and scaling AI/ML solutions efficiently.

Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI/ML and contribute to research and development initiatives.

Work closely with multi-functional teams, including data scientists, data engineers, and product managers, to integrate AI/ML solutions into products.

Collaborate with collaborators across the business to understand their needs and challenges, translating them into clear, concise, and technically feasible data analysis requests.

Document model development processes, maintain code repositories, and present findings and progress to collaborators.

Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.

You have:

A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field. A Ph.D. is a plus.

Previous experience in or with 5+ years' experience as AI/ML engineering, with a focus on machine learning models and generative AI.

Technical Skills

Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, and Java.

Experience with ML frameworks and libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Scikit-learn.

In-depth knowledge of AWS services, including SageMaker, Lambda, EC2, Bedrock, and S3.

Strong understanding of deep learning architectures, natural language processing, and LLM.

Experience with data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation metrics.

Soft Skills:

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
