What You Will Do:
With specific parts ownership, the Manufacturing Engineer will drive manufacturing process improvements across multiple process steps that spans the full value stream of the parts. As a key member of the Integrated Product Team (IPT), the Manufacturing Engineer will interact with product designers, tool designers, quality assurance, systems designers, and other stakeholders.
Provide focused & effective leadership in the advancement of MRL elements to drive manufacturing risk identification and mitigation to achieve superior quality performance; identify & implement process optimization & control methods to eliminate/prevent quality turn backs /escapes and reduce overall product costs.
Drive targeted manufacturing process optimization activities through MRL tools such as Value Stream Mapping and Process Flow Diagram, PFMEA, Control Plans, Measurement Systems Analysis, Yield & Cost curves and Qualification plan.
Fully document problem statements, observations, conclusions, calculations and recommendations; use statistical analysis tools to perform Root Cause analysis and corrective actions on non-conforming product.
Support the project pipeline process to select, prioritize and scope projects to business objectives, integrated with other continuous improvement activities and CORE initiatives; develop processes and provide direct support for new product introduction across multiple programs.
Lead projects critical to improve manufacturing process capability & quality performance; represent the organization in various forums related to MRL execution. Develop standard work, procedures, and integrate industry-standard best practices.
Qualifications You Must Have:
Bachelor's degree in engineering and 2 or more years of experience in an engineering, manufacturing, machining, materials management, operations management, process improvement or closely related industrial environment or a Master's degree and 1+ years' experience in an engineering, manufacturing, machining, materials management, operations management, process improvement or closely related industrial environment
Knowledge of manufacturing and assembly processes
Experience using Microsoft Office products
Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret level security clearance.
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
Qualifications We Prefer:
Engineering degree (aerospace, manufacturing, mechanical).
Understanding of Pratt & Whitney's Lean/CORE methods.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.
The salary range for this role is 66,000 USD - 130,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
