Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking an Engineering Support Specialist to join our Support Equipment organization located in Ridley Park, PA. This position will have the responsibility to identify and estimate labor/material/travel resource requirements and support negotiations as necessary. This individual will also serve as a Control Account Manager (CAM) for multiple programs on behalf of the PHL Support Equipment team. The Engineering Support Specialist will work with team leads and the manager to ensure estimates, schedules, and Risks, Issues, and Opportunities (RIOs) are accurately accounted for in proposals. After contract award, this individual will create cost and schedule baselines for the activities and then track performance to the plan through Earned Value Management (EVM) techniques including (but not limited to): Estimate at Complete (EAC) analysis, variance analyses, and monitoring spend on activities. The Engineering Support Specialist will communicate with team leadership, finance, and program on performance to plan and RIOs. This individual will also support staffing exercises with management.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the Ridley Park, PA location.
Position Responsibilities:
Work closely with Program Technical Leads and Support Equipment Integration team to enable outcomes in the areas of planning, execution, communication, and operations
Support customer/program meetings and proposal negotiations as required
Identify and track cost, schedule, and technical performance using Boeing Program Management Best Practices (PMBP) and Earned Value Management (EVM)
Develop schedules and integrate tasks with other IPTs
Define plans for technical risk mitigation and opportunity (RIO) capture
Support management in resource planning and assignments
Organize and prioritize efforts across multiple programs.
This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. secret clearance Post Start is required..
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
A Bachelor's Degree or higher.
3+ year of experience in Program Management Best Practices (i.e., Requirements Management, Resource Management, Integrated Planning and Scheduling, Financial Oversight (EVM), Program Performance Management, Supplier Integration, RIO (Risk, Issue, Opportunity) Management, Program Communication, Senior Leadership Reviews, etc.)
3+ years of experience integrating supplier or partner plans and schedules into the Program schedule and managing the integrated Master Schedule at the Program level
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Experience with integrated scheduling
Commercial derivative or military aircraft maintenance experience
Aircraft Landing Gear Systems experience
GOLDesp experience
F-15 Program Asset Management Experience
Experience working in a component repair center
Typical Education/ Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+1 years' related work experience, 7 years' related work experience, etc.).

Summary pay range: 73,950 - 100,050
