Job Location: 6201 Connection Drive, Irving, TX 75039. Required to work from Company Office (Irving, TX) certain days per week. Telecommuting allowed for balance of week.

Duties: Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs. Develop a high scalable performance testing strategy for the mobile, web and API services. Develop a detailed plan documenting functional and non-functional transactions including data volume, users and data needs. Design and execute benchmark, load, stress, endurance, and other performance tests. Monitor application logs to determine system behavior. Provide technical feedback on system availability, performance, reliability, and scalability of the applications in scope. Identify technical issues, test scripts, test results, facilitate the resolution and necessarily follow up with the development and other cross-functional teams. Review compliance with current standards and procedures for project business requirements documentation, testing documentation and metrics. Analyze the CPU utilization, memory usage, network usage, garbage collection and DB parameters and DB reports to verify the performance of the applications. Generate performance graphs, session reports and other related documentation required for validation and analysis. Publish results and receive appropriate signoff. Lead the effort to prepare detailed status reports and monitor all the defects and issues. Identity memory leakage, connection issues, and bottleneck problems in the application. Partner with various software infrastructure teams to optimize system performance. Enable automated testing in the @context of continuous integration and continuous delivery.
Requirements: Employer will accept a Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or related field and three years of experience in the job offered or three years of experience in any occupation in which the required experience was gained. Position also requires three years of experience in each of the following:
Review quality for software architecture models including clientserver, service oriented, microservices, and event drive hosted on cloud data centers including AWS and Azure.
Performance testing strategies and best practices using tools including Apache JMeter, OpenText LoadRunner, Akamai and CloudTest.
Monitor active usage of resources using Elastic Search, Kibana, AppD, Dyntrace, Splunk.
Generate custom data sets to test environments using SQL (Oracle, Postgres, and MySQL), Linus shell scripts, windows batch, Python, and Excel macros.
Automate processes, tests, and build cold using bitbucket, Github, and GitLab.
Lead Operations, Production support, and Performance engineering activities, including release support, change requests, client engagement, performance issue resolutions and optimizations.
Manage team tasks, assign story points, manage backlog and tickets using Jira and ALM.
