The New Product Introduction team (NPI) works within the Collins Management System (CMS) to achieve successful design and production while delivering exceptional quality standards. The NPI team is comprised of Operations Program Managers (OPM), Manufacturing Production Specialists (MPS), and Department Support Coordinators (DSC.) NPI and the CMS framework guides design and production over the entire lifecycle of the product to ensure product maturity milestones are established and achieved. The MPS will often act alongside the OPM in projects of significant size and scope and act autonomously in projects of smaller size and scope.
The MPS will support a fast-paced, high tech product development requiring a high level of organization and strong communication skills.
This position will be expected to work between the manufacturing production floor/ office environment as business needs determine .
What You Will Do
Supports Integrated Project Team (IPT)
Manages and Communicates material availability and Lot Tracing, resource planning, task completion and quality performance
Manages and communicates implementation of change orders
Participate in all activities during design phase (DFM/DFT reviews, BOM reviews, ect.)
Participate in production transition planning and development activities prior to Gate 5
Work with OPM on Control Account Management (CAM) of the program
Collaborates with Production Control Support, Procurement Support and Master Scheduling to ensure that material master data is accurate
Collaborates and Communicates with Program, Engineering and Operations
Participates all Manufacturing activities (MRL, PRR, ect) through Gate 5 readiness
Ensures that producibility reviews and testability reviews are held
Ensures applicable policies and procedures for delivery are followed
Validate demand plans and delivery dates
Manage Product Schedule
Travel may occur as business needs determine throughout the year
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience
Qualifications We Prefer
Experience with Microsoft Office products
Excellent communication skills
Experience with working MRP/ERP specifically with SAP
Experience within manufacturing

The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
