Finance Intern

Essential Job Functions:

Provide support to multiple functions within the finance department that may include but not be limited to:

Prepare monthly reconciliations for bank accounts.

Assist in preparation of other balance sheet account reconciliations.

Assist with the verification of fixed assets and supplemental fixed asset accounting.

Monitor capital appropriation requests.

Provide administrative support to the finance function.

Assist with pre-month end close activities.

Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities. Special projects as needed. Job functions include but are not limited to those listed.

General Requirements:

Currently enrolled full-time in Bachelor's degree program in accounting with an overall G.P.A of 3.3+.

Junior year status preferred.

Available to work 15-20 hours per week during the academic semesters with an opportunity to work full-time during the summer months.

Strong attention to detail with emphasis on accuracy and quality.

Excellent organizational skills with ability to initiate, prioritize, and plan work to achieve deadlines.

Ability to work and be self-directed.

Excellent interpersonal skills and a "can-do" attitude.

Strong to expert Microsoft Excel skills.

Ability to perform the above mentioned essential job functions.

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate's position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.

The compensation range for this role is $19.00 - $20.00 USD per hour.
