Position Overview:

We're searching for a friendly, detail-oriented Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for our organization. In this critical role, you will be the face of our nonprofit, ensuring visitors, staff, and community members feel welcomed and supported. Key Responsibilities:

Front Desk Operations: Greet and assist visitors, answer multi-line phone calls, and direct communications to the appropriate department or staff member.

Administrative Support: Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, maintaining records, and processing incoming and outgoing mail.

Community Liaison: Act as the welcoming face for members of the community seeking our services and resources, providing them with preliminary information or directing them as necessary.

General Office Coordination: Manage supply inventory, keep shared spaces tidy, and coordinate office equipment maintenance.

Conference Support: Assist with room bookings, preparation of meeting materials, and maintaining the schedule for our conference/meeting space.

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

Experience: 1+ years in a receptionist, administrative assistant, or front desk role (nonprofit experience is a plus).

Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational, and multitasking ability. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Experience with phone systems and scheduling platforms is preferred.

Attributes: Professional, approachable, and compassionate demeanor. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to confidentiality.

Preferred Qualifications:

Volunteer or work experience in a nonprofit/social service setting.

Familiarity with CRM systems or client-interfacing databases.

Bilingual proficiency (preferred but not required)
