Event Project Manager Part-time- 20 hours + Hybrid- 2-3 days onsite, Arden Hills *MUST BE ABLE TO WORK ENTIRE MONTH OF JULY, NO TIME OFF Our client is seeking a dynamic and organized Project Manager to lead and coordinate the planning, logistics, and execution of a large Global Market Summit in September. This individual will act as a cross-functional liaison, ensuring seamless collaboration across regions and workstreams. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, is exceptionally detail-oriented, and has a proven track record of delivering high-profile events on time and within budget. Responsibilities: Project Planning & Coordination Develop and maintain a comprehensive project plan with timelines, milestones, and deliverables. Set up regular check-ins, status meetings, and clear communication protocols with all stakeholders. Track action items, dependencies, and elevate risks proactively to ensure smooth execution. Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with internal Marketing teams to align on strategy, content, and logistics. Coordinate with external vendors, agencies, and venues as needed. Ensure regional teams are informed and engaged to localize summit strategies if applicable. Event Logistics & Execution Oversee all event logistics including scheduling, technical production, onsite events, and presenter prep. Lead day-of-event operations and troubleshooting to ensure seamless delivery. Communications & Reporting Create and manage a communications calendar with internal updates and stakeholder reporting. Maintain centralized documentation and provide ongoing status updates to leadership. Lead post-event debriefs and compile performance reports, insights, and recommendations. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in project management, preferably in marketing, communications, or events. Proven experience managing large-scale, multi-regional corporate events or summits. Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficient in project management tools (e.g., Asana, Smartsheet, Trello, or Microsoft Project). PMP certification is a plus but not required. Comfortable navigating matrixed organizations and working with global stakeholders. Proactive problem-solver with a hands-on, get-it-done attitude.
