CTG's long-standing Fortune 500 client of over 15 years has a W2 contract assignment for a Customer Service Coordinator I.

Type: Contract

Job Title: Customer Service Coordinator I

Location: Tarboro, NC

Candidates must be able to commute and work onsite in Tarboro, NC

Pay Rate: Based on experience

Work Hours: M-F 9:30am-6:00pm

Education: High school diploma or equivalent required

Description:

Serve as the first point of contact for North American customers via phone and email

Interact with various internal departments including Sales, Accounting, New Accounts, Complaints, Pricing, Quality Control, Product Management, Manufacturing, Distribution, Marketing, and Scientific Support

Provide professional, accurate, and efficient responses to customer inquiries

Maintain world-class customer service standards in all interactions

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

Handle a high volume of incoming orders and inquiries via phone and email

Manage and resolve customer cases in SalesForce.com

Use multiple internal systems to provide accurate information

Process accurate order entries and manage customer orders

Provide updates on inventory, pricing, shipping, and technical inquiries

Independently initiate corrective actions to resolve customer issues

Assist in addressing customer complaints

Maintain and update customer profiles in PeopleSoft

Follow up with the New Accounts team on account setup changes

Ensure 100% follow-through with customers internally and externally

Attend product and technical training sessions

Requirements:

Must be able to commute and work onsite

Must be able to work on a W2 basis (no C2C or third-party vendors)

Monday through Friday, 8-hour shift between 9:30am-6:00pm

Required Qualifications

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent

Experience:

2+ years of cross-functional commercial or customer service experience

Preferred: Call center customer service experience

Skills:

Ability to manage a high volume of work in a fast-paced environment

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Email, and web-based applications

Typing speed of 50 WPM

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Able to meet or exceed department performance metrics

Adaptable and open to process improvements

Preferred Experience/Qualifications:

Experience in the Life Sciences industry

Experience with PeopleSoft Order Management or similar systems

Experience with SalesForce.com

Soft Skills:

Positive, enthusiastic, and professional demeanor

Dependable, reliable, and committed work ethic

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively

Flexible and quick to adapt in a changing environment
