As an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer Sr here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our manufacturing operations. You will report directly to our Sr. Advanced Manufacturing Engineering Manager , and you'll work out of our Rocky Mount, NC location .

In this role, you will impact our manufacturing operations by optimizing production processes and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Your contributions will lead to increased efficiency, reduced costs, and improved quality in our manufacturing operations. Your expertise will help us stay at the forefront of advanced manufacturing technologies and ensure that we deliver innovative and high-quality products to our customers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead and support day-to-day manufacturing operations for our manufacturing cell, ensuring high levels of product quality, reliability, and throughput.

Demonstrated success with processes including heat treat, braze, and laser welding

Experience with manufacturing processes and machining equipment.

Develop and implement strategies to optimize production processes and drive continuous improvement

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, develop, and implement capacity models for investments in advanced manufacturing technologies

Analyze production data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions

Provide technical expertise and guidance to manufacturing teams

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards

Manage and allocate resources effectively to meet production targets

Managing projects from ideation to implementation.

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.

YOU MUST HAVE

Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics

5 + years of experience in manufacturing for aerospace or similar field

2+ years of experience in managing projects through ideation and technical implementation

1+ years of manufacturing floor support, including troubleshooting equipment like automation, torque tools and fixtures.

WE VALUE

Desired Advanced Engineering degrees like Aerospace Engineering, ME (Mechanical Engineering) etc. based on job title

Hands on experience in mechanical troubleshooting

Manufacturing experience understanding laser marking, braze processes, fixturing and tooling

Project management experience

Ability to work independently

Eagerness to get involved in hands-on work

Willingness to learn new technologies
